Literal Progress???

So, what do you think???

It's still REALLY matchy-matchy, because I used the exact same fabrics in the tee as I did in the shorts. I did add the salamander print in brown, but I still don't think it provides enough interest. Thoughts?

And for those mom's of boys out the combo "masculine" enough for little boys? Or is it too prissy? I really struggle with these sorts of decisions when it comes to boy clothes!

I would love to start offering some boy things in the shop, so any and all feedback would be much appreciated...thanks so much!

  1. I love the shirt, but think if you put a dark brown on the shorts instead of the dots it would be more boyish. But, that is just my opinion.

  2. I like the brown idea. Linen or just cotton???

  3. I would go with cotton that is washable. You know how wild boys are.

  4. what about paw(salamander) prints on the pockets of the shorts in brown?

  5. I was just looking for things for a friend who had a baby boy and I came across this. Its cute but I think its a bit too matchy. They'd be great PJ's. Like Gail said, maybe brown on the shorts instead, or dark brown light brown spots if you want them to match but not. Or lose the matching fabric on the shirt and just reflect the colour in your salamander print. I think less is more with boys. just a brown salamander on the shirt with a brown stripe detail on the shorts...just my opinion! Your girl stuff is fun!
